Matthew Hester is known to be Anastasia Hester’s ex-husband, who was not apprehended until June 19, 2019,
He was not arrested over three years after the murder. Hester was charged with solicitation to kill, two counts of conspiracy to murder, and obstruction of justice.
It was due to Hester’s lack of commitment that Anne did not only lose a guardian, but she lost everything. Not having her mother by her side gave her the trauma enough for her lifetime.
Hester is known to have only admitted to murder solicitation and obstruction of justice counts.
Oregon court documents obtained by Law&Crime states that, Anastasia Hester’s ex-husband, Matthew Hester, is awaiting punishment, being jailed at the Coffee Creek Correctional Institution.
Hester pled guilty to and was convicted of soliciting murder and delaying prosecution in the murder of Anastasia Hester, who wasn’t a random lady but the woman he was in love with for five years until they separated in 2012.
Hester, his second wife, Angela McCraw-Hester, and his daughter, Anastasia, lived together in Idaho for a while. McCraw-Hester, aged 39, was apprehended by US Marshals in Idaho in 2017.

Matthew Hester has admitted to having up to ten chats with his wife Angela McCraw-Hester about killing Annastasia Hester during a 2017 police interview in Idaho following the couple’s arrest.

Meanwhile, Angela and Matthew split behind bars inside the house, and McCraw’s children are reared by foster care.
Angela stabbed Annastasia Hester 60 times to death while she was sleeping. Despite the fact that the victim could phone 911 for assistance, she died in the hospital.
In the end, forensic evidence linked McCraw-DNA Hester’s to several items in residence. She was also seen wandering around the flat on the CCTV video.
