NASIR failed to live up to expectations but that’s not stopping Nas from promoting the album. The Queensbridge legend returns on Thursday (Nov. 15) with a short documentary named after his Kanye West produced eleventh studio LP.
The documentary directed by Rohan Blair-Mangat largely focuses on racism and police brutality in black communities. The 16-minute film contains throwback footage from Nas’ illustrious career and also contains vocals from each track featured on NASIR including “Not For Radio,” “Cops Shot The Kid” and “White Label.”
