Nate expanded CBS Morning Show and its sibling companies in 2021, first as a color commentator for Nickelodeon’s NFL Wild Card game and then as the host of the inaugural season of Paramount+’s The Challenge: All-Stars reunion program.
Burleson joined Gayle King and Tony Dokoupil as co-anchors for CBS Mornings, a retooling of CBS This Morning in August.
He’d also stay on Nickelodeon as the network’s new weekly NFL highlights program host and reunite alongside Noah Eagle and Gabrielle Nevaeh Green for the network’s 2022 Wild Card coverage.
Nate Burleson from CBS Morning Show, has made an impactful name for himself.
From the time his alarm goes off at 4:45 am, Nate Burleson’s life is one of controlled pandemonium.
Nate is known as a co-host of the newly established and reimagined “CBS Mornings,” his most significant step into the national limelight outside of athletics.
That high-profile, high-pressure role began on Tuesday when he hosted his debut program in their Times Square studio with Gayle King and Tony Dokoupil.
CBS News stated that, Nate will appear on NFL broadcasts such as NFL GameDay and NFL Total Access, adding up to his work for CBS This Morning, The NFL Today, and Nickelodeon.
He’ll also be covering Super Bowl week, the NFL Honors, and other events on the ground.
Burleson maintains calmness in front of the camera, one of his calling cards, while navigating a frenetic and highly competitive existence.
His secret weapon, he claims, is his 11-year NFL career as a wide receiver with the Vikings, Seahawks, and Lions after graduating from Seattle’s O’Dea High School.
Burleson’s career is exploding in real-time, like his mentor, Michael Strahan. Burleson was a journalist for the NFL Network and presented “Good Morning Football” for five years.
He began appearing on shows such as That Other Pregame Show, Good Morning Football, and The NFL Today in 2017.
Nate will be named host of The NFL Today, as Burleson’s post-playing career has taken off following his retirement from football in 2014.
His contagious charm has garnered him roles as a pre-game show commentator, a contributor on “Extra,” and even live broadcasting for a Nickelodeon game.
Burleson’s current enterprise should be an intriguing challenge for him because it is not related to football.
Burleson now works for Paramount (previously ViacomCBS), where he co-hosts CBS Mornings and covers football for CBS on The NFL Today and Nickelodeon.
He was a New York reporter for the entertainment news show Extra and co-hosted Good Morning Football on NFL Network. Under the moniker New Balance, he has appeared in a number of rap tracks.
In the 2010s, Nate made the transition from football to broadcasting. In 2014, he announced his retirement, and fresh chances arose quickly.
