Naveen Andrews was born in the month of January in London’s Lambeth district to Kerala natives, and was born and raised in Wandsworth, where he was raised as a Methodist. Nirmala Andrews, a psychologist, and Stanley Andrews, a businessman were his parents.
Andrews happens to be a British-American actor who is well renowned for his appearance in the ABC drama series “Lost” (an American broadcasting company). He won a Screen Actor Guild Award for his mesmerising performance in 2006. He is most known for his role as Sayid Jarrah in the television series Lost (2004–2010), for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award, as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award.
After not seeing Andrews since the early 2000s drama Lost, a lot of fans couldn’t believe how well he had matured. Andrews was so committed to his craft that he even auditioned for the part. In an interview with The Guardian, the actor revealed that he gained the first 6lb (9kg or 20lb) for the role in order to plump his frame and face. He added, “At the very least, I wanted to seem like the character I was playing.” He has grown so differently and in a nice way actually.
