The deceased in a deadly car accident that occurred in Crow Wing County on Wednesday has been identified as Nicolas James Engen of Blaine, Minnesota.
In Mission Township on Wednesday afternoon, a single-vehicle collision claimed the life of Nick Engen, 26.
Engen, according to accounts, was driving a car on MN-371 near West Twin Lake Drive in the vicinity of Brainerd when, for an unspecified cause, the car left the road at around 3:20 p.m. Wednesday. The car then went over a culvert and overturned into West Twin Lake.
On the spot, Engen was declared dead.
