Ladipoe has remained relatively quiet since he signed with Don Jazzy and Mavin Records back in the early stages of 2017. After releasing a handful of singles in the past, the Nigerian MC finally unleashes his debut project T.A.P. (Talk About People).
The 10-track album available for streaming below via Apple Music and Spotify features collaboration with Efya, Ghost of Show Dem Camp, Seyi Shay, Funbi and Sir Dauda.
Don Jazzy signed Poe to Mavin Records in 2017 alongside DNA and Johnny Drille.
“POE is a wordsmith.” Don Jazzy explained to Creative-HipHop. “He has his ways with words that makes me want to hear what next he is gonna say. From the activation comments alone you can tell the fans love him. But rap skills aside, I wanted a rapper that other rappers would understand why i signed him. He is respected amongst his peers. Most importantly he isn’t signed. I also like him cos he is level headed and would fit right in Mavin. The ladies love him too that’s a major plus.”
