Norman Pickett Death – It is with great sadness that we inform you that Norman Pickett – the long standing treasurer of Holcombe Sports and Hockey Clubs – passed away yesterday during the night following a short illness. Norman led the financial transformation of a small, pub-based hockey club into the massively successful entity it now is based at one of the best facilities in the country.
Norman Pickett played hockey when he was younger and in recent years could regularly be found on the terrace supporting the men’s and women’s first teams.
Our thoughts and sympathies are with Norman’s wife, Di, and son, David.
