Paul Sartin is a violin and oboe-focused English vocalist, musician, composer, and arranger. Although he has previously performed with the folk/comedy duet Belshazzar’s Feast and the trio Faustus, Bellowhead is most known for his work with the folk band Bellowhead.
Willesden is where Sardin was raised in London. He was tutored at Anson Elementary, Highgate School, then transferred to Purcell School for Young Musicians and again at Brent Music Services. He performed on the oboe for Gloria, a musical theater company, and the Baylis project of the English National Opera while still in high school and college. Later, he accepted a choral scholarship to Magdalen College in Oxford, where he earned a 2-1 grade point average in music.
