She was one of the original cast members of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta and appeared in the first six seasons of the show. She also appeared in the Stevie J & Joseline: Go Hollywood spin-off.
Joseline Hernandez is a Puerto Rican entertainer from Ponce. She grew up in Puerto Rico’s public housing system, where she was exposed to narcotics and prostitution at a young age. She and her family relocated to Miami, Florida, when she was six years old. She began to undress at the age of sixteen in order to support her family.
In 2003 and 2007, she was arrested for indecent and lascivious conduct under the name Shenellica Bettencourt. In the early 2000s, Joseline worked as a prostitute. She danced with Love & Hip Hop artists Jessica Dime and Miami Tip at Diamond Cabaret, where she filmed a failed Showtime TV pilot, and at King of Diamonds with Love & Hip Hop performers Jessica Dime and Miami Tip. She later relocated to Atlanta, where she worked as a dancer at the Onyx club and was spotted by Stevie J.
Joseline appears on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta as an aspiring rapper and recording artist, directed by Stevie. After Joseline became pregnant and decided to have an abortion, it was eventually revealed that the two had sex. Stevie’s relationship with lover Mimi was ruined by the discovery, which created a fight between the two women that would last the rest of the series. Joseline and Stevie’s tense and turbulent relationship grew even more strained and explosive in season two, when Joseline tearfully proposed to Stevie while on vacation in Puerto Rico. Stevie accepts but rings Mimi’s bell once again, humiliating Jocelyn and making her lash out.
At the start of Season 3, she and Stevie claimed to have secretly eloped a few months ago, causing the rest of the cast to be suspicious. For season four, she and Stevie J struck a film deal in Los Angeles and produced their spinoff Stevie J & Joseline: Go Hollywood, which premieres on January 25, 2016. When funding for the film failed, the couple returned to Atlanta on poor terms for season five.
They parted ways at the end of the season after Steve admitted their marriage was faked for the public, and in the season’s reunion special, Jocelyn revealed she was pregnant with Steve’s child. Their daughter, Bonnie Bella Jordan, was born on December 28, 2016, and was recorded in its sixth and final season.
