Patience Renee Chaney Death – We are extremely devastated to announce the death of Patience Renee Chaney, 45, of Lorain, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Friday vehicle crash in Lucas County.
Patience Renee Chaney died in a two-vehicle crash near Swanson Friday night.
Patience Renee Chaney was operating a KIA Optima on US-20 near Turtle Creek Drive in Swanton, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 10:30 p.m. Friday. The vehicle then came into contact with a Lincoln Navigator operated by 28-year-old Joshua Wheeler, of Swanton.
Patience Renee Chaney was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
It is unknown if Wheeler suffered any injuries in the wreck.
