Professional Basketball Player, Max Strus Career Life, Family Revealed

Max Strus is known to be professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association for the Miami Heat (NBA). Who was born into the family of professional basketball player.

Max Strus was a member of the Lewis Flyers and the DePaul Blue Demons in collegiate basketball.

Strus attended Lewis University for his undergraduate studies. Strus averaged 13.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game as a freshman, starting all 31 games for the Flyers and earning second-team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honors.

On November 30, 2020, Strus signed a training camp deal with the Miami Heat. On December 19, 2020, the Heat converted his deal to a two-way contract near the end of training camp.

Max Strus was born into the family of John Strus and Debra Strus, in the United States of America.

Max Strus muse are his parents, as both, his parents played professional basketball during his early career.

Debra played basketball and volleyball for Depaul, while John played basketball for Eastern Illinois. She was a two-sport star and a member of the NBA’s Athletic Hall of Fame, according to nba.com.

Junior Strus never had to persuade his parents to pursue a career in sports because he was born and raised in an athletic family. Instead, the Strus pair most likely supported him from the start of his career.

Max Strus was born and raised by his parents in America, so he has American nationality and inherited the ethnicity of his parents.

Strus was selected first-team all-GLVC and honorable mention Division II All-American as a sophomore, averaging 20.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game, all team highs.

He also set school records with 167 free throws made and 666 points scored in a single season and 52 points scored in a game (14 for 18 shooting) against Northwood University, on November 24, 2015

Strus declared after the season that he would be leaving the program to pursue a Division I career. In his two seasons at Lewis, Strus scored 1,078 points.

Strus joined the Miami Heat for the NBA Summer League on August 1, 2021, and five days later signed a two-year contract for $3.5 million to stay with the team.

Max Strus was born in the Chicago suburb of Hickory Hills, Illinois, and was a member of the baseball and basketball teams at Amos Alonzo Stagg High School.

He had a late growth spurt and reached 6’6″ at the end of high school, despite entering his sophomore year at 5’9″.

Strus was awarded area player of the year by The Reporter, All-Southwest Suburban Conference, All-Area by the SouthtownStar, and third-team All-State as a senior, averaging 19 points and nine rebounds per game.

Strus committed to Division II Lewis University, where his older brother Marty had played, despite only receiving one Division I scholarship (Chicago State).
