Professional Pool Master, Lol Ho Sum Career Life Explored

The World Pool Masters is an international nine-ball competition held every year.

It was previously known as the European Pool Masters before players from other world regions were invited.

Lo Ho Sum is known to be a professional pool player, who has managed to keep up an excellent rank in his professional career, and fans are looking forward to his performance this year.

Lo Ho-sum is the first Hong Kong pool player to be given a wild-card entry for next month’s World Pool Masters, but he is concerned that a funding cut would force him to withdraw from the sport.

Billiards and snooker are among the 20 Tier A sports recognized by the Hong Kong Sports Institute, entitling them to world-class facilities at the institute’s Fo Tan campus and adequate financial assistance for outstanding players.

The sport, however, is on the verge of being demoted to Tier B after being dropped by the Asian Games for three consecutive years.

Lo and several other veteran players have stated that a budget decrease will end their professional careers.

Lo Ho Sum is currently 23years old, and he described the World Pool Masters as a “dream come true.”

Lo, 23, will shortly be released from hotel quarantine after traveling to the United Kingdom to play in the WPA World Nine-Ball Championships, where he placed 17th, Hong Kong’s highest finish.

Lo stated that getting invited was a dream come true, but the agony of cue sports being relegated persisted. The pool player began full-time training on the Fo Tan premises at 15, forsaking his schooling after Form 3.

Lo became the first Hong Kong pool player to reach the podium at the 2015 Junior Worlds. He and compatriot Robbie Capito won silver in the boys’ doubles at the Asian Youth Championships that same year.

Lo Ho Sum has not stated much regarding his family to the general public or media yet when it comes down to family.

Lo seems to be a private persona as the poo player has not shared much about his personal life. In addition to that, Oo has also kept his Instagram account confidential, which we respect.

The Hong Kong Billiard Sports Control Council hailed Lo’s wild card admission on Facebook but conceded in a gloomy tone that their future was unclear.

Cue sports will lose Tier A classification if it is not featured in the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.

The best 20 players in the world will compete in the World Pool Masters, which will be held in Gibraltar from May 5-8, featuring reigning champion Alexander Kazakis of Greece and four wild card players.
