The alleged man threw a glass bottle at the Ibrox during the match due to which Celtic physio sustained injuries. According to the sources, the arrested man was frustrated with the performance of Rangers in Sunday’s match against Celtic. He is seeming to be a Rangers fan and he lost his control when Celtic players celebrated their 2nd goal during the game. The Celtic beat Rangers by 2-1. The accused has been taken into custody after observing CCTV footage of the Ibrox stadium.
It was a matter of 3rd April 2022 Sunday when fans were enjoying the clash of two football clubs at Ibrox. But suddenly an outraged fan lost his control and committed an offense. Now he is in the custody and being interrogated. Police officials have stated that they have apprehended a 32 years old man who was involved in the incident that happened during the clash of Rangers and Celtic.
The accused threw a glass bottle due to which a Celtic physio got injured and he was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment during the match between Rangers and Celtic. On Monday he will probably get convicted. A spokesperson for Scotland Police said, “a man of 32 years of age has been taken into custody and charged for his alleged involvement in an accident happened at Ibrox Stadium, Glasgow during Celtic vs Rangers game on 3rd April 2022.”
