Rick Ross has made it through 11 months of 2016 without releasing a full length LP and now more certainly, fans shouldn’t expect one this year.
Back in January the rapper took his talents to Epic Records to reunite with L.A Reid. Since signing with Epic, Rozay has released a handful of freebies and remixes but he’s now ready to deliver his first album under his new label.
During the red carpet pre-show interview moments before the American Music Awards kicked off, Renzel revealed that his long awaited 9th studio LP will release early next year. He also mentioned that the upcoming album is titled Rather You Than Me — same words he had inscribed on his sweatshirt.
“Rather You Than Me” will serve as a follow up to 2015’s disappointing Black Market and will be his first since calling it quits with Def Jam.
The album’s first single Buy Back The Block featuring Gucci Mane and 2 Chainz was released last week. Stream it below.
