Rick Ross takes his Birdman disrespect to the next level by shooting a more disrespectful video for his RYTM single “Idols Become Rivals.”
The video opens with a provocative sermon from a pastor about love of cash money & Luxury – and ends with a clip of former Cash Money producer, Shondrae “Bangladesh” Crawford, who’s responsible for producing Lil Wayne’s platinum selling “A Milli” – but hasn’t been paid a dime.
But the most controversial part of the Ryan Snyder directed clip is the burning of Lil Wayne’s Cash Money contract.
Birdman back in March described the track as “hoe shit.”
“I don’t get caught up in hoe shit,” he said to Billboard. “I just keep doing what I’m doing and keep pushing. I don’t get caught up in that, I don’t play like that. I’m a man and I stand my ground and I do my thing. Numbers don’t lie, and that’s all I give a fuck about: numbers, and puttin’ them up.”
Some of the songs damming accusations fired by Rick Ross includes Birdman wearing fake watches — “”I used to see you niggas on my TV screen
And wondered what was life like, was it all a dream?
And then I met you out on LiveNation dates
Came to the realization that your watch was fake
Damn, you nearly broke my heart.”
To Birdman Using artists royalties to pay for his mansions, — “”You stole them boys pub and bought a foreclosure
Scott Storch demons in it, which is more poison.”
Don’t expect Birdman to let this slide
