Being Rihanna has its perks and one of them includes having a street named after you. TMZ reports that the government of Barbados will officially change the name of Westbury Road [The street Riri grew up in] to Rihanna drive.
Rihanna lived at Westbury Road until the age of 16 before leaving to pursue her music career and we’re thankful she did. Despite her family not living there anymore, the brightly-painted house still remains a major tourist attraction.
The new sign is already up but Thursday (November 30) is when the name change becomes fully official and Rihanna is scheduled to make an appearance.
