Multi-award winning Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has been signed to a worldwide publishing deal by Sony Music UK.
The publisher announced the partnership on Monday (Aug. 2), via social media.

Sarkodie confirmed the deal with an announcement on his official Twitter page, along with more pictures from the signing.
“Officially part of the SMP family,” Sark announced.
Sony Music Publishing is home to some of the world’s best songwriters, with classic catalogues including The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and The Rolling Stones, as well as beloved contemporary songwriters such as Ed Sheeran, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Calvin Harris, Cardi B, Daddy Yankee, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Rihanna, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Travis Scott and many more.
The veteran Ghanian rapper released his sixth studio album No Pressure last week Friday. The album, which continues to rack up impressive numbers on streaming platforms includes guest appearances from Wale, Vic Mensa, Kwesi Arthur, Cassper Nyovest and more.
