Sheldon Simkus is fast becoming the topic on the lips of many, he is known as a talented surfer from Australia who is currently 24 years old as per online sites.
Sheldon is said to be 24 years, as he was born on July 21, as per his girlfriend Macy Jane’s post. However, the surfer’s exact date of birth is not known.
Stab Magazine interview shows that, he was born and raised in Tweed Heads, New South Wales.
He says, “It was convenient to have Snapper and D-Bah as near as possible, and I grew up surfing with the Snapper Rocks Boardriders.”
It’s arguably one of the busiest areas on the planet, but growing up amongst all the old fellas and good waves helped him.
Before doing the QS, he had finished school and knew he wanted to improve his surfing, so he traveled with Seabass for six months, getting footage and developing his surfing.
He says to Stab magazine that he had taken competition much more seriously this year, and his surfing has improved significantly. Where he is now will put him in the 6,000s for next year, so maybe it’ll only get better from there, and he’ll be able to qualify [for the CT] in the future.
Sheldon Simkus is romantically linked with his girlfriend named, Macy jane Callaghan. She is also an Australian-based surfer.
According to Sheldon’s Instagram, the couple had been in a relationship since May 1, 2020, as the surfer writes “365 days of a lot of fun” as a caption with his girlfriend.
