The viral video of a Stellenbosch University’s white student, who was filmed while peeing in the room of a fellow black student is the topic on the lips of many.
Stellenbosch University is looking into an alleged racist incident that occurred over the weekend at one of its student houses, in which a black first-year student was targeted.
It is reported that a white student broke into a black student’s room at Huis Marais’ residence and urinated on his possessions, according to the SA Students Congress (Sasco).
The viral video has made people to be outraged and disgusted after seeing a video of an alleged racist event at a Stellenbosch University house that has gone viral.

The video on Twitter appears to show a white student urinating in a black student’s dorm at Stellenbosch University.
In the Twitter video, the black student documenting the scene asked why was he peeing in his room but the white pupil is believed to have responded, this is what we do to black youngsters.
The institution firmly rejects any detrimental behavior, such as what occurred during the incident in the Huis Marais residence on the Stellenbosch campus, according to Dr. Choice Makhetha, senior director of student affairs at Stellenbosch University.
Makhetha went on to say that the incident will be looked into by the institution.
Stellenbosch University victim’s name is said to be Huis Marais. According to a statement released by Sasco, the black student was sleeping when the event occurred on Sunday morning.
The white student, who has not been identified, was caught peeing on the black student’s desk, books, and laptop. In fact, his name has not been revealed yet.
In addition, the occurrence was brought to the attention of the resident administration throughout the day on Sunday, and it was promptly reported to the appropriate university organizations for an immediate inquiry.
Dr. Choice Makhetha, the senior director of student affairs at Stellenbosch University, stated that the university strongly opposes “any damaging activity, such as [what occurred] during the event in the Huis Marais house on the Stellenbosch campus.”
Makhetha further stated that the event will be investigated by the institution. “Necessary and decisive action will be taken” based on the investigation’s findings, Makhetha added.
Viwe Kobokana, chairwoman of the institution’s student representative council (SRC), said a meeting with the victim and the university had been set. She stated that the SRC would publish a statement following the meeting on Monday.
