How long did we have to wait for this … 3 … maybe 5 years? It doesn’t even matter now. Nigerian MC, M.I Abaga finally drops his long awaited fifth studio album “Yxng Dxnzl.” The album, which is a follow-up to 2014’s The Chairman contains 10-tracks and includes collaborations with Niyola, Odunsi The Engine, Tay Iwar, Cina Soul and Lady Donli.
Like the title suggests, Yxng Dxnzl is a reflective album with raps that are meant to impact your subconscious with messages of belief. Songs like Do You Know Who You Are, Stop! Never Second Guess Yourself and I Believe In You, You Should Too, Believe In You help the push the concept of the album. It also includes the previously released controversial single “You Rappers Should Fix Up Your Lives.”
Earlier this year the veteran rapper released a mixtape/playlist titled Rendezvouz.
