Lisbon based Zimbabwean MC Synik makes his debut on our platform with the video for Rukuvhute.
The song, which means “umbilical cord” in the Shona language features seasoned Zimbabwean singer and songwriter Vusa Mkhaya.

Produced by Gerald Mugwenhi, “Rukuvhute” captures the complex emotions of leaving a home that has turned hostile.
In the video Synik performs the song with a guitar, whilst seated under Autumn trees. “Rukuvhute” is the second single from his upcoming second studio album, A Travel Guide For The Broken which will be released soon. Last year he released his “The Industry” EP.
