A day after appearing on Ebro In The Morning on Hot 97, T.I made his way to The Breakfast Club to continue the conversation with Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee. During his time on the show, Tip spoke on his involvement in Ye Vs The People, a new song in which Kanye tries to make sense of his support for Donald Trump.

“This is the fastest record I’ve ever recorded in my life. It happened at the end of a four-hour long discussion we were having,” T.I. said. “We stepped outside and had a discussion and I was like ‘whats up, man? I’m sure you have a very logical explanation to all of this. What’s the punchline? I’m sure you got something that’s going to make sense in my head, I’ve just got hear it.’ He said, “man, just being a free thinker, man.”
Hours before sharing Ye Vs The People, Kanye posted a picture of himself wearing a MAGA hat, — a terrible gesture that left his fans even more confused. When Tip confronted him about it, West replied saying “My subconscious spoke with my conscious and it just moved me to wear the hat.”
According to T.I, West believes black people have the power to change and own the representation of #MAGA, “Just like we did with the word n***er We took the power from the word and now we use the word as our own.”
Do you think he has a point?
