The adverse effects of the medications given to him as a child caused him to lose his hearing permanently as an infant. Hughes, an aspiring model, relocated to Madison to attend college and pursue a career as a model in the fashion world.
He had trouble finding employment because of his impairment, according to the Netflix movie, and eventually ended up at a clothing store where he used sign language to communicate with his management.
In May 1991, Anthony Hughes and serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer met in a Milwaukee gay bar. Hughes, who was 31 at the time when he accompanied Dahmer home.
It’s believed that Dahmer requested a nude photo shoot in writing. Once inside, Dahmer poisoned him before killing him by strangulation.
