The company was founded in 2009 and Bonnie, unexpectly passed away in May 2017.
Bonnie was 71 years old at the time of death, as she is reported to have passed on due to injuries from a boating accident.
Bonnie was married to Donald, who was 78-year-old at the time of her death, were enjoying the ride when they hit a rock in Pine Flat Lake, Fresno County, California.
After the accident on 24 May left, Bonnie’s husband was left with moderate wounds. According to the Fresno sheriff’s office, the first responders called the police officers to the scene at about 5 pm. They found the Kalanicks on the shore of the lake.
Many people paid tribute to them, after her death, knowing fully well that the couple from the Los Angeles neighborhood of Northridge were longtime boaters.
Bonnie used to work in retail advertising for the Los Angeles Daily News. Her husband was a civil engineer.

She and her husband, Donald, welcomed their child on 6 August 1976 in Northridge, California. He is a Granada Hills Charter High School graduate.

Besides her son, she also had two step-daughters – one of them is Anjanette “Anji” Kalanick Arm, the mother of actress Allisyn Ashley Arm. Likewise, her other son, Cory, works as a firefighter.
