The Lagos-based duo of Mista Books & Teck-Zilla deliver a slick new video for “Try Angles.”
Teck-Zilla and Mista Books are back with a video for Try Angles, a standout track from their recently released joint album The Harder The Better.
The song features Books dropping bravado raps about his innate ability, but he’s still very much cautions of the fakes around him: “That’s why I try angles/ So many squares in my circle/ Always stay patient ‘cause that’s a virtue/ See beyond the earth, that’s universal/ They want me goin’ back, back on reversal.”
Directed by Psalmurai, the video pays homage to classic hip hop videos and includes cameo appearances from rising producer Ben Hilly and afrosoul singer Maka.
Released February 11 via Str8buttah productions, “The Harder The Better” features guest appearances from Mack Gee, Phlow, Ex-O, and Prophecy. Stream the album here and Watch Try Angles video below.
