The tragic shooting at Texas on Tuesday, claimed the life of many, one of which includes, a fourth-grader, Xavier Lopez was killed by an 18-year-old gunman who opened fire at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.
Salvador Rolando Ramos opened fire at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, killing 21 people on May 24, 2022.
Nineteen of those killed were children, two were adults; several other children were injured.

After the shooting and death of many, A family member has set up a GoFundMe account to assist Xavier’s parents in raising funds for the funeral.
By Tuesday night, the family had already collected more than $24,000. Uziyah Garcia was killed in the shooting, according to his family, hours after he was reported missing.
“A thousand words won’t bring you back, I know because I’ve tried; neither will a thousand tears, I know because I’ve cried. Rest in peace.”
Makenna Lee Elrod was confirmed dead late Tuesday night by a family friend after her father, Brandon Elrod, revealed she had been missing since the shooting and expressed concern that she may not be alive.’
ABC News stated that, Amerie Jo Garza was also confirmed dead by US Marshals Tuesday night. Steven Garcia and Jennifer Lugo confirmed Tuesday’s massacre killed their daughter, Ellie, who had been missing for several hours.
Xavier Lopez Age Revealed
Xavier Lopez was nine years old at the te of death. Garcia, according to Xavier’s family, would have turned ten this summer.
Nineteen children, including ten-year-old twins Xavier and Amerie Jo Garza, and two adults, including fourth-grade teacher Eva Mireles, were killed in the shooting. When two victims arrived at Uvalde Memorial Hospital, they died.
The CEO of Uvalde Memorial Hospital stated that, thirteen children were taken to the hospital. Several other victims were transported to San Antonio’s University Hospital. Governor Greg Abbott stated that two officers were shot but suffered no serious injuries.
Salvador Rolando Ramos, who was 18, was the gunman who opened fire in the school. According to police, Salvador shot a UCISD police officer who tried to stop him from entering the building.
The Robb Elementary School was placed on lockdown at 11:43 a.m. in response to gunshots in the area. At 1:17 p.m., UCISD tweeted that there was an active shooter at the elementary school.
As UCISD officers exchanged fire with Salvador, US Border Patrol Tactical Unit agents arrived at the school in response to a request for assistance from authorities; they, too, exchanged fire with Salvador, with one agent suffering head injuries.

A GoFundMe page was opened for the victim by his cousin, Stephanie Harris, for Xavier’s funeral.
His cousin stated that, Xavier’s mother had attended his awards ceremony just hours before the shooting, unaware that it would be the last time she saw her son alive. May his soul rest in peace.
