Like our Editor-In-Chief, Paperman will always say, ‘nobody makes mixtapes/albums better than DJ Kay Slay, nobody.’ I’ve always had my doubts concerning the above opinion but after going through the extensive tracklisting for the veteran DJ’s forthcoming “The Big Brother” album, I’m starting to see where he’s coming from.
The LP which is due September 22 has a few joints that will certainly sway the attention of hip hop lovers, take for example — “Hip-Hop Icons” featuring rap legends Ice-T and Kool G Rap as well as “Lights Glowing” featuring Sheek Louch, Styles P and Scarface. The album, like most Kay Slay projects, caters to the rap enthusiasts.
Following the release of Cold Summer featuring Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller & Kevin Gates – and Jealousy with The Game, Busta Rhymes and Tech N9ne. Kay slay liberates the project’s next single which comes in the form of a video. The song titled “Story Of My Life” features Papoose, AZ and Mysonne paying respects to the women in their lives.
