With an impish grin and a knack for playful wordplay, Nef The Pharaoh knows how to have a good time. Opening up the X-rated section of his book of bars, Nef shares “TYP,” his latest video single.
Produced by Djfresh, “TYP” (short for “Tap Yo P*ssy”) is a dose of classic Bay Area swag, inspired by the raunchy rhymes and snapping instrumentals of Too $hort, who makes a cameo in the video. Weaving between echoing claps and rubbery bass, Nef cleverly details what he looks for in a woman (turns out, he’s not very picky). In the video, Nef holds auditions for the Bay’s baddest, bringing in friends like ShooterGang Kony to join the fun.
“TYP” is the third release from Nef’s upcoming Mushrooms & Coloring Books, following last week’s “High Voltage,” featuring Tyga, and the über-local “South Vallejo.”
