Equally adept at down-home Southern anthems as club bangers, Yella Beezy is one of the rap game’s most promising young hitmakers. Connecting with a fellow radio darling for a celebratory ode to secret sexual encounters, Beezy shares the video for “Restroom Occupied,” featuring Chris Brown.
With a beat from OG Parker, the raunchy and addictive “Restroom Occupied” currently sits at #18 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay charts. Featuring a cameo appearance from comedian Michael Blackson, the video finds Beezy and Breezy sipping Belaire in a glamorous club, luring bad girls from the dancefloor to the women’s room as their boyfriends helplessly look on. Quickly following the creative animated visual for “Restroom Occupied,” the seductive single is one of the highlights from Baccend Beezy, the Dallas rapper’s recent project.
“It’s always dope when I get to work with my brother Breezy,” says Yella Beezy to Complex, who premiered the video. “You know we just came off tour together and homie is different, he’s special. I felt like we killed this record and we killed the video. Working with Michael Blackson was cool too. What y’all don’t know is, Chris and I took his girls for real after the shoot so he’s big mad right now.”
Released in July 2019, Baccend Beezy is the latest chapter in the Dallas native’s independent rise from obscurity to stardom. Featuring the Urban Radio Top Ten hit “Bacc At It Again” ft. Quavo & Gucci Mane, ‘Baccend Beezy” peaked at #91 on the Billboard 200 and featured appearances from Young Thug, Chris Brown, NLE Choppa, Too $hort, and more.
