Our. Thoughts are with Warwick and Frank’s Family, friends and SES Unit members.
Its with great sadness that I inform you of the passing of Warwick Simpson from Grenfell Unit on Saturday afternoon, and Frank Wilson from the Mathoura Unit on Sunday. Warwick was the Deputy Unit Commander for Grenfell Unit and has been with us for 52 years and 11 months. Sadly Warwick lost his battle with an aggressive cancer on Saturday, passing in Grenfell Hospital surrounded by his family. Frank was the Unit Commander for Mathoura, providing 19 years’ service to the community, serving as the Unit Commander for the Mathoura Unit for the duration. Frank passed at home on Sunday.
