Young Dolph talks about the sketchy details surrounding the attempt on his life with new documentary “KING.” The Doc which is part of WORLDSTARHIPHOP’S “Enigma series” is centered around his life in Castalia, South Memphis.
In the under 30-minutes clip featuring Gucci Mane, Dolph speaks on some of the mischief he used to get into back in the day, how his father’s drug problem forced him to stay with his now late grandmother, getting his big break and hooking up with Gucci Mane, his first gig, amongst other things.
Back in February Young Dolph’s SUV was shot at over a hundred times while on his way to perform at a night club in Charlotte, N.C. The incident forced the rapper to record his Bulletproof LP, which was his own subtle way of clapping back at his haters. In the documentary, Dolph says he’s not worried about the “bullshit” and he’s going to deal with it later. “I’m deal with that shit later,” he said. “I won’t forget about it.
Earlier in the week Yo Gotti affiliate Blac Youngsta turned himself in to Charlotte police in connection with the shooting. Immediately after posting bail, he went at Young Dolph with a new diss track Birthday.
