Wayne Cooper was the 40th overall draft pick in 1978, and played two seasons with the Golden State Warriors.
Cooper competed for the Utah aJazz and the Dallas Maverick of the National Basketball Association (NBA), before his retirement. He played a total of 984 games and recorded a total of 7,777 points during his NBA Career.
Wayne Cooper played for the Dever Nuggets for five years and was the all-time leader in blocks while in the team. Later, he served as the Sacramento Kings’ Vice President of Basketball Operations from 1996 to 2013.
