TikTok is a well-known platform where a variety of trends and challenges go viral. Similarly, a viral Orbeez challenge has the internet going insane.
Furthermore, this viral practice is causing alarm in several localities, with some teenagers facing accusations of reckless endangerment from Newark, Delaware, to Wayne, Pennsylvania.
Orbeez, on the other hand, are little, colorful water bullets or beads marketed to youngsters to encourage sensory play. Similarly, according to this press release, they debuted in 2009 but were sold to toy behemoth Spin Master in 2019.
The Orbeez Task, or #OrbeezChallenge, is a new TikTok challenge that entails filling a blaster or toy gun with Orbeez balls and firing it at passersby while recording everything on TikTok.
#OrbeeChallenge is the name of the fad that has been circulating on the platform. Similarly, some individuals are creating Orbeez ammunition gun lessons only for the purpose of gaining views and followers.
While this may appear to be innocuous, launching Orbeez at others might cause serious injury. Not only that, but in several states, it is considered burglary. Furthermore, Volusia County authorities recently searched a car in which someone was accused of randomly firing an Orbeez toy blaster gun filled with gel beads at passersby.
Additionally, this trend has also occurred in several other states, including California and North Carolina. The ‘Orbeez challenge’ has gained more than 153 million views on TikTok.
