Carol Kirkwood is a Scottish weather presenter, trained by the Met Office, and employed by the BBC, on BBC Breakfast. In 2015, she participated in the 13th series of BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing, finishing in 10th place.
Carol, who is 59 years old, also dropped out of the morning show just a few days after saying she had a “new job.” Carol was replaced by Sarah Keith-Lucas, who gave the weather report while she was away.
They were shocked when Naga Munchetty and Carol Kirkwood mysteriously vanished on the episode of BBC Breakfast that aired on Friday. It was Rachel Burden and Charlie Stayt’s second time together this week, but they didn’t know where the Naga were this time around. As of now, Naga has not said anything about why she hasn’t been on the BBC Breakfast show.
Why is Carol Kirkwood Leaving BBC Breakfast?
This is what one other person said: “Was hoping to see Naga Munchetty on BBC Breakfast today! There’s also been a lot of talk about Dan Walker, who says he’s leaving the famous morning show to become the lead anchor on Channel 5. He hasn’t been seen for the last two weeks.
Instead, Jon Kay will host from Monday to Wednesday instead of the well-known host, who has been replaced. When it was said that Carol would also be on the BBC’s Morning Live with Gethin Jones and Kym Marsh, she got excited. During the live link on Wednesday, Kym said, “We could be in for a treat this Bank Holiday, fingers crossed!”
When Carol Kirkwood is on the news, she explains why it’s going to be hotter than Majorca because of some Saharan breezes. Even though Jon and Sally didn’t like that Carol was on the other channel, they didn’t mind that she was there at all. Sally said: “Hands off Carol Kirkwood, she’s ours! She’s ours!” During Morning Live, what does she do?
