Why Is Robert Enslin Leaving Google Cloud, Where Is He Now?

Robert Enslin is known as the President of Google Cloud’s Global Customer Operations.
In 2019, Enslin joined Google Cloud, four months after Kurian took over as the company’s third-largest cloud provider.

Before joining Google, Robert spent 27 years at SAP in sales and operations leadership roles, most recently as President of the Cloud Business Group and member of the executive board.

Robert oversaw core functions such as professional services, ecosystem, channel, and solutions and developed and managed SAP’s full cloud product line. He also directed the field revenue and enablement initiatives across numerous locations.

Presently Robert Enslin is the Google Cloud’s new President of Global Customer Operations. Rob’s global experience in establishing and leading companies, business acumen, and extensive customer and partner ties make him an ideal candidate for this critical position.

Rob spent the previous 27 years at SAP in sales and operations leadership roles, most recently as President of Cloud Business Group.

According to the internal email obtained by Protocol, Rob Enslin, Google Cloud’s President and top executive in charge of worldwide sales under CEO Thomas Kurian, is leaving the company.

After this report was published, UiPath stated that Enslin would become co-CEO of the robotic process automation startup.

Enslin’s departure will streamline Google Cloud’s sales and customer success organization, which will also see the departure of John Jester, the vice president of Customer Experience, who led professional services, enterprise support, customer success, and executive engagement globally for the past three years.

According to Rob, the goal is to condense customer touchpoints based on feedback from consumers and Google Cloud’s Partner Advantage program members.

Rob English, a former Google employee, is well-known for being wealthy and, more significantly, making a lot of money by working in the technology sector for more than two decades.

According to Wikipedia, Rob English’s net worth is estimated to be around $10 million, based on his contributions to Google and other technology companies.
Enslin is credited with assembling Google Cloud’s international sales team from regional and industry leaders, drawing talent from Oracle, Salesforce, and SAP.
