Jaleesa Mason is a Chef, mom, and business owner. She is currently 28 years old and is based in New York’s Spanish Harlem.
Despite the fact that she is French-born, she was classically schooled and holds culinary degrees. In addition, she has a Bachelor’s degree in Baking and Pastry Arts.
She runs the infamous Mo & Jay Pastry, a French bakery in Little Falls, New York. The creative chef is also the owner of Sweet Memories by Jaleesa (SMJ), which she runs alongside her husband.

Pastry chef Jaleesa Mason has walked away with the title of Spring Baking Champion. She received prize money of $25,000 as the crowned winner.
After the announcement, Mason expressed her joy in becoming the winner. “It was insane,” She told the NJ Advance Media.
She also explained that the judges are hard to please in the show. The chef told that Duff Goldman is the hardest to impress.
“If I had to pick one judge, it would be Duff just because he’s a ‘cake guy.’ I consider myself to be a cake gal, so he’s the person who would mostly pick up on cake techniques that are difficult to execute,”
Jaleesa Mason co-owns Mo & Jay Pastry with her husband Mohamad Al-Kassem. The duo had started it in 2016 at their apartment in Hackensack, New Jersey.
Her husband Mohamad Al-Kassem, as per his LinkedIn has worked as a Pastry Chef for the Maison Kayser USA in past. It’s possible that the couple met and fell in love there.
According to their business’s official website, the couple had initially started as the producers of french food, gourmet madeleine.
Before joining the reality show, Mason had just given birth to her daughter, Olive. She was not actually sure about joining the show, however, her husband had inspired her to take the chance. The couple is also raising a baby son named Charlie Al-Kassem.
