The footage was later taken down on Twitch, which shows a 18-year-old who opened fire with a rifle at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York, killing ten people and wounding three more, according to officials.
The 18 years old was heavily armed Caucasian male suspect who eventually surrendered, according to law enforcement officials, and was later identified as Payton Gendron, a resident of Conklin, New York, roughly 200 miles southeast of Buffalo.
The authorities stated that, eleven of the victims were black, and two were white, and the incident was described as a “racially motivated hate crime” by Erie County Sheriff John Garcia.
The tweeted video was quickly deleted after violating Twitter rules.
Some people are speculating that the user is the shooter behind the incident, but there is no evidence. The authorities have also not made any comments.
The district attorney’s news release shows that, Gendron was arraigned Saturday evening before Buffalo City Court Chief Judge Craig Hannah on one count of first-degree murder.
Twitch, a famous live streaming platform, confirmed on Saturday that the Buffalo shooting suspect used its platform to live stream the crime. The shooting video has been leaked on Reddit and Twitter.
The user has been “indefinitely suspended from our service,” according to the company, and “we are taking all appropriate action, including monitoring for any accounts rebroadcasting this video.”

Payton Gendron of Conklin, New York, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder on Saturday, according to Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn. Wyatt-Coto is also speculated to be involved in the case.
During the press conference, Flynn stated that the suspect had utilized an assault weapon. According to Flynn’s news release, the suspect shot four persons outside the grocery store, three of whom died.
He opened fire on an armed security guard, who authorities said was a retired Buffalo police officer when he entered the store. The security guy succumbed to his injuries and died. According to the press statement, the perpetrator shot eight more persons in the business, six of whom died.
