Young Stoner Life’s SL2 debuts at the no. 1 spot.
Young Thug and Young Stoner Life’s “Slime Language 2” has debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 charts. The album sold 113,000 equivalent album units during its first week.
Of that figure, 106,000 were SEA units, equaling 142.68 million on-demand song streams, album sales comprise 6,000 and TEA units comprise 1,000.
“The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Each unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album.”
“Slime Language 2” was released April 16, via Young Stoner Life/300. The star-studded compilation is the label’s third ever No. 1 album following Gunna’s Wunna in 2020 and Young Thug’s So Much Fun in 2019.
Along with the artists on Young Stoner Life (Lil Duke, Gunna, Lil Keed, T-Shyne, Yak Gotti), The 23 track effort also featured guest appearances from Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, Big Sean, NAV, Future and more.
