January 14 made it one year since the untimely passing of Lorde Jones Scorcese. In commemoration of his death, Insubordinate Records are celebrating his legacy with the release of the “Winter Catalogue” album, a project he was reportedly working on with producer Panels while he was alive.
Serving as a follow up to 2020’s Summer Catalogue, the album features decadent sample based textures provided by Panels, which Scorcese lyrically dances around while delivering his patented brand of deliberate, layered wordplay full of witty references to sports, fashion, dope-dealing and of course, pro wrestling.
The album also comes complete with Scorcese’s vision of a full line of fly embroidered merch: hoodies, crewnecks, beanies, scarves, joggers and more, and is available in limited quantities on CD and 4 different cassette designs with art by SquatDeadFace and Cassettes Hotel.
Featuring guest appearances from Eddie Kaine, Lord Juco, Zilla Rocca, Rahiem Supreme, Doof and Alaska, “Winter Catalogue” is available for streaming at insubordinaterrcords.com. You can also stream it below via bandcamp.
