“When asked what he likes about Doja, he responded, “She makin’ her own way out here… She hot.”
Elsewhere in the Clubhouse interview, YoungBoy revealed he is considering quitting music.
“I lost love for music and it brings too many problems,” he said. “I been waiting to stop making music for about one and a half years.”
The 22-year old recently earned his first Grammy nomination for Best Melodic Rap Performance for “WUSYANAME,” his collaboration with Tyler, the Creator, but remains skeptical about his chances of winning.
“I don’t think I’ll win. They’ll probably give it to Doja Cat or The Weeknd,” he told Akademiks. “I don’t need them to decide if I’m a winner or a loser, but my grandma would like it. To be honest, I don’t know how big or how small — I don’t know what it mean to even get one. I ain’t big on no shit like that.”
The Baton Rouge was released in late October from jail on $500 bond after spending seven months behind bars for gun possession. He is currently under house arrest in Utah.
