All the best new music we missed this week.

This week’s edition of best new music we missed is the most quiet we’ve had in a long while. Nevertheless we still get new projects and singles from the likes of Blaqbonez, Five Steez, Ghostface Killah and Kwesi Arthur.

Nigerian rapper/singer Blaqbonez closes out the biggest year of his career so far with an updated version of his debut album, while Jamaican rap juggernaut Five Steez finds Quietude on his new album with Brazilian producer SonoTWS.

We also get new singles from Ghostface Killah, Kwesi Arthur and Dionne Warwick. Because we can’t always get them all. These are some of the best new music released this week. All in one place for your listening pleasure. Some care!

Blaqbonez “Sex Over Love” Deluxe Album

In the 5 months since the release of his debut album, a lot has changed for Blaqbonez. The rapper has moved up the ladder and is now seemingly a mainstay in Nigeria’s music industry.

To close out what he regards as the best year of his career so far, Blaq has gifted his fans with a deluxe edition of his stellar debut album, Sex Over Love. The deluxe version contains five additional tracks including remixes of some of the albums original tracks such as Shut Up, and Okwaraji. The new version also includes a brand new song “Medicine” featuring Nigerian singer Oxlade.

Kwesi Arthur, Tellaman, Bella Shmurda and Kwami Eugene also make guest appearances on the deluxe.

Album: Five Steez x SonoTWS “Quietude”

The Council Of The God’s patriach Five Steez gives insight and inspiration on his new album Quietude. Released on Tuesday (November 23) in collaboration with with Brazilian Producer SonoTWS, the 11-track effort is consistent with Five Steez’s penchant for concept-driven musical projects, as he narrates his life’s journey over jazz and soulful backdrops provided by Sono.

In addition to the previously released “Just A Vibe,” Quietude finds Steez trading bars with The God Fahim on “My Own Way,” he gets nasty on “Operating Work” with fellow Council Of The Gods members Nomad Carlos and The Sickest Drama.

Elsewhere he announces his greatness on “Spell It Out” and keeps hope alive on the Shanique Marie assisted “Be Alive.”

Ghostface Killah Feat. Raekwon “Bob James/I Got Soul” Freestyles

Ghostface Killah celebrates thanksgiving with two new freestyles including one with his fellow Wu-Tang brethren Raekwon. Both tracks features classic samples from Bob James and Eric B & Rakim.

Video: The Weeknd “Die For You”

On the 5th anniversary of his Starboy album, The Weeknd revisits the project to debut the visuals for “Die For You”. Inspired by the sci-fi film E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial and the Netflix drama series, Stranger Things, the clip is centered on a younger version of The Weeknd who has telekinetic ability and is being seeked by the government.

The Weeknd released Starboy in 2016, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts.
