Birdman is the content we didn’t know we needed.
The Cash Money Records CEO/co-founder sat down for an extensive interview with Revolt’s The Big Facts Podcast earlier this week where he spoke about his infamous kiss with Lil Wayne, not signing Kanye West when he had the chance and dividing $1.4 billion between Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj.
During the almost 2 hours long conversation, the veteran music executive also detailed why he thinks the likes of Jay-Z and Diddy aren’t on his level, despite them being worth more.
“As a man, I accomplished more than all of them. And I don’t say that in a disrespectful way. I’m not trying to be disrespectful,” said Birdman. “But the reality of it is, none of these dudes accomplished more than me in the music business. Not one of them. I don’t care what name you say, accomplished more than me. That’s facts. No if, and or buts about it.”
When Diddy’s name was brought up Birdman maintained the same energy.
“Man, he’s one of the n*ggas that turned me up,” he said about the Bad Boy founder. “And I’ll never say anything negative about Puff.
“I’m not gonna deprive that [he did a lot]. But I don’t think they did more than me. And you can ask him yourself, he’ll vouch for it.
“You can ask Jay-Z himself, he’ll vouch for it. They ain’t accomplished more than me in this music business and that’s facts. Yeah, I did that. Big bank, big boy. I did that, brother, no cap.”
is this facts?
