Bow Wow and Soulja Boy’s highly-anticipated Verzuz battle did not disappoint.
After months of anticipation, the highly anticipated verzuz battle between Bow Wow and Soulja Boy took place tonight, Saturday (June 26).
Watched by over 700,000 people – The nostalgia filled Verzuz was definitely one to remember. Despite their antics and social media back-n-forth preceding the event. The face off was all love as mr 106 and Park and Big Draco took fans down memory lane with performances of some of their biggest hits including “Turn My Swag On,” “Bounce With Me,” “Kiss Me Through The Phone,” “Pretty Boy Swag,” “Shortie Like Mine” and “Crank That.”
Soulja Boy also debuted a remix of his new hit single “She Make It Clap” featuring Nicki Minaj. Update: Nicki says it’s not a remix, but a random freestyle she recorded while Verzuz was going on.
Bow Wow brought out surprise guests DJ Paul, Jermaine Dupri, Da Brat and Dem Franchize Boyz, while Soulja tapped French Montana for “She Make It Clap” remix and Romeo, who gave the two their flowers.
The segment was very enjoyable and it lived up to everything we hoped it would. Black Twitter totally enjoyed it as well and these are some of their reactions.
