Chris Brown is showing solidarity with Kyrie Irving in his fight against taking the covid-19 vaccine.
C. Breezy took to his Instagram story on Wednesday (Oct. 20) to let his fans know he’s totally behind his “brother.”
“The real hero!!! I stand with my brother,” Brown wrote over a black and white picture of Uncle Drew.
“Whoever don’t like it… go live your damn life.”
Irving, who remains ineligible to play in NBA home games at Barclays Center In Brooklyn because he has not fulfilled New York City’s COVID-19 vaccine requirement believes he’s fighting for something bigger than basketball. Irving says he isn’t anti-vaccine and that his decision to not get vaccinated is in support of people losing their jobs due to vaccine mandates.
“I am doing what’s best for me. I know the consequences here and if it means that I’m judged and demonized for that, that’s just what it is,” he said. “That’s the role I play, but I never wanted to give up my passion, my love, my dream just over this mandate.
The Brooklyn Nets Point Guard has received a lot of criticism for maintaining his stance against getting vaccinated, but Chris Brown says “it’s his choice and a damn good one.”
“Always in my brother’s corner,” he adds.
