Roc-A-Fella Sues Damon Dash For Trying To Auction Off Reasonable Doubt As An NFT
Roc-A-Fella is suing one of its founding founders – Damon Dash for allegedly trying to sell off Jay-Z’s debut album.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Dash tried to sell Reasonable Doubt as an NFT (Known as non-fungible-token) to the highest bidder at a since-canceled auction. Roc-A-Fella says they own the rights to the album, and Dame has no legal grounds to sell it.
In the suit filed by powerhouse attorney Alex Spiro, RAF claims Damon is “frantically scouting for another venue to make the sale.”
The company is worried DD will find a different platform to hold the auction and they want a court to step in and stop Damon from going through with the auction. RAF also want Dash to turn over any NFTs of “Reasonable Doubt” he may have already minted.

Drake Says Certified Lover Boy Will Arrive Before End Of Summer
Drake says fans can expect his new album by summer’s end. In a livestreamed interview during battle rap event NOME XI last Saturday, the Toronto rapper shared that CLB will arrive by the end of summer.
“It’s at the end of the summer,” said the interviewer, referring to the Summer Madness 11 battle between Murda Mook and Reed Dollaz. Drake replied, “Yeah, I’ll be there. My album will be out by then.”
The album was initially penned to arrive back in January, but was delayed due to his knee injury.
“I’m just grateful to be back on my feet. I went through a little bit of a tough stretch with an injury and I’m back in tip-top form,” he said on OVO Sound Radio. “CLB is currently being cheffed in every way possible…I’m back in the studio with 40 tough. I’m just really excited about the music that we’re making and I feel like I’ve locked into a zone where I’m really trying to execute on a project that’s fulfilling for my soul.”
