Fat Joe reportedly provided emotional support to Biz Markie’s wife every week for a year.
Biz Markie’s widow, Tara Hall tells TMZ that although many people reached out and showed support to her husband while he was ill, non was more consistent than Fat Joe.
Tara says Fat Joe called her every single week to check on Biz, and the rest of their family to see if they needed any sort of financial or moral support.
The New York rap legend was reportedly ready to open his wallet to provide whatever Biz family needed during his hospital stay.
Biz may be dead, but Joe’s support remains consistent and the rapper has reportedly offered to help with funeral cost. Although the family turned down his offer, they’re very appreciative of the gesture.
Fat Joe wasn’t the only hip hop artist to support Biz’s family during his illness.
