The internet’s obsession with hypotheticals and needless debates gave rise to the now viral question of would you rather have dinner with Jay-Z or take $500,000? While the correct answer is $500k (always take the money), some social media users are convinced dinner with the billionaire rapper would offer them an opportunity to life changing wisdom.
As the debate ensures, we now have an idea of some of the financial advice the Brooklyn rapper will most likely give out to people that would choose to have dinner with him over taking the money. Jay offered two quick tips to a young reporter on how to be as successful as him.
“Believe In yourself even before anyone else belives in you, Be confident and just believe in yourself.”

Back in September Jay-Z himself seemingly settled the debate when Tidal, the music streaming service he owns a portion of tweeted “take the 500k.”
