Kanye West is showing support for Travis Scott after Billie Eilish seemingly shaded the “Sicko Mode” rapper at one of her concerts.
The 20-year singer received high praises last week for halting her concert in Atlanta to give a distressed fan their inhaler.
“Wait for people to be OK until I keep going,” she said.
While she says her remarks were in good faith, Kanye believes Eilish should apologize to Scott for using his unfortunate occurrence at Astroworld for cheap PR.
“COME ON BILLIE WE LOVE YOU PLEASE APOLOGIZE TO TRAV AND TO THE FAMILIES OF THE PEOPLE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES,” he captioned a screenshot of a headline that claimed Billie dissed Scott.
“NO ONE INTENDED THIS TO HAPPEN TRAV DIDN’T HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHAT WAS HAPPENING WHEN HE WAS ON STAGE AND WAS VERY HURT BY WHAT HAPPENED,” he added.
The outspoken rapper later revealed that Travis Scott will be joining him at his headlining Coachella set in April, and would only perform if his co-headliner apologizes to Scott.
“YES TRAV WILL BE WITH ME AT COACHELLA BUT NOW I NEED BILLIE TO APOLOGIZE BEFORE I PERFORM.”
Eilish responded to West, insisting her comments weren’t about Travis Scott and that she was just helping a fan.
“literally never said a thing about travis. was just helping a fan,” she wrote.
This could very well be another promotional tactic from Kanye West who is rumored to be dropping some new music in a few hours.
