Kanye West’s tenth studio album Donda still hasn’t arrived yet, but the long-awaited project is expected to hit streaming services any minute now (hopefully).
On Thursday night (July 22) Ye debuted songs off the album during a sold out listening event held at Mercedes-Benz stadium in Atalanta. The album (so far) contains 15-tracks with guest appearances from Lil Baby, the late Pop Smoke, Baby Keem, Lil Durk, Pusha T, Travis Scott and more.
The album also features Kanye’s big brother and Watch The Throne partner Jay-Z on the album’s closing track.
The live audience went crazy when they heard Jay rapping, but what’s even crazier is Hov recorded his verse at the dying moments, according to his engineer Yung Guru.
“HOV did the verse today!!!! At 4pm.”
Jay-Z and Kanye have been needlessly feuding since 2014, so this was such an epic moment. Audiences at the arena weren’t the only ones to lose it. Social media also went crazy with excitement.
