During his visit to the L.A. Mission last week where he donated over 1000 meals to the homeless for thanksgiving, Ye spoke with the organization’s owner, Reverend Troy Vaughn about four possible strategies he believes can help to ease the growing homelessness in the city.
TMZ reports Kanye wants to create a plan to continue feeding the unhoused by establishing a working relationship with organizations across the city, while also using his own companies to help provide education, jobs and housing. Ye believes he can use his popularity and Sunday Service to inspire and uplift the homeless community in Los Angeles.
California’s homeless population continues to grow and according to Nan Roman, president of the National Alliance to End Homelessness, housing in the city has gotten way too scarce and expensive.
Kanye believes by partnering with other groups that are already tackling the crisis, they can come up with innovative ideas that can eliminate the homeless situation.
